The Monasterio de Rioseco is located in a rural area with limited accommodation options nearby.

For this reason, each guest will arrange their own accommodation independently.
In this section, we will provide a selection of recommended hotels and places to stay in the area for those who wish to spend the night.

ACCOMMODATION

For your convenience, we will provide a coach service for our guests, which we especially recommend to avoid travelling at night.

Planned coach schedule:

Outbound: departure from Santander at 14:00
Return: departure from the Monastery at 03:00

Use of the coach is optional, and guests may make their own way if they prefer.
The cost of the coach will be covered by us.

It is important that you indicate in your RSVP whether you will use the coach service, both for the outbound and return journeys.

TRANSPORT

Our wedding will be a formal event, held in a very special natural and historic setting.
It is not a themed wedding, but we would like all guests to be well dressed and well presented, in keeping with the venue and the occasion.

Casual looks such as tracksuits, blue jeans of any kind, trainers, or overly casual clothing are not permitted.

(DRESS CODE)

WOMEN

For female guests, we recommend elegant attire, appropriate for a formal event and in harmony with the surroundings.

Please note that the venue includes stone areas and uneven surfaces, so comfortable and stable footwear is advised, without compromising elegance.
For the afternoon and evening, a light jacket or coat may be a good option.

MEN

For male guests, the dress code is formal, in keeping with the nature of the event and the venue.

Suitable footwear is recommended for stone areas and uneven surfaces.
Although it is summer, temperatures may drop in the afternoon and evening, so a jacket is both a practical and elegant option.

• White and very light tones (white, ivory, cream, light beige)

• Total black (for both men and women)

PARKING

The Monasterio de Rioseco has a parking area nearby, although the number of spaces is limited.

For this reason, we strongly recommend using the coach service we will provide for guests whenever possible, especially for the return journey at night.

If you choose to arrive in your own vehicle, we advise allowing extra time to make parking and access to the venue easier.

To ensure that everyone can enjoy the celebration in a relaxed and carefree atmosphere, the wedding will be an adults-only event.

Children are considered to be guests under the age of 15.

CHILDREN

MENU AND DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

The menu for the day includes a welcome cocktail, banquet and an open bar during the celebration.

To ensure everyone can fully enjoy the day, we kindly ask you to indicate any allergies, intolerances or special dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, etc.) in the RSVP form.

All this information will be shared with the catering team in advance to ensure every guest is comfortable and well looked after.
